As is tradition in the armies of Krieg, Lord Marshal Varnan Dreir leads this force from the front atop his loyal steed, armed with a laspistol and sabre. Behind him rides a squad of ten Death Riders – bold cavalry who thunder across no man's land with lances levelled and sabres drawn. Six Combat Engineers – demolition experts, sappers, and close-quarters trench fighters support them. They are tasked with clearing razorwire and defusing mines before bringing their shotguns and trench clubs to bear upon the enemy. Finally, an Artillery Team uses towed weapons to hurl various munitions capable of eliminating entire squads of infantry, cracking open reinforced bunkers, and laying waste to armoured convoys.This box is also the first place to find the new Codex: Astra Militarum, a 168-page hardback book with an exclusive cover, equipping you with inspiring lore, updated rules, and epic artwork.
