Dropfleet Commander: UCM: Battlecruisers

This kit builds multiple variants of UCM battlecruiser straight out of the box. The Johannesburg class was designed around an entirely new hull built for the specific requirements of a battlecruiser, and mounts one of the largest weapons ever fitted to a UCM vessel: the enormous Viper super-heavy anti-ship laser. The related Perth class compensates for a smaller weapon by doubling the UF-4200 mass driver armament of its sister class, though its generators can't support the launch bays found on the Johannesburg. The Rome favours command and control over raw firepower — its extensive antenna array and optical suite make it one of the most suitable vessels for a tactically prudent admiral, while its cavernous launch tubes berth two capital-ship-killing heavy torpedoes, backed by an array of point-defence lasers exceeding anything expected for a ship of its size. Miniatures are supplied unpainted and unassembled.
