Victrix Limited: Dacians

This 60-figure set depicts the Dacians, a warlike people of the Carpathian mountains known to the Greeks as the Getae. Warriors are typically armed with spear and shield, sword or knife, with a strong contingent of archers. Their signature weapon was the falx, a fearsome two-handed scythe-blade capable of hooking over a Roman shield or cutting through a helmet. Metalworking was a Dacian strength, so nobles are equipped with mail or scale armour and elaborate helmets, some using captured Roman gear.
