Bushido Bushido: Jung Pirate: Renishi $14.66 $15.43

This ‘lobstrosity’ has been Blessed by the Ocean and is known as the Killer Claw among his shipmates. With a form more suited to life at sea, specifically a pirate's life at sea, with his armoured frame, snapping claws and great strength, Renishi can hold a flank (Or a Deck) against all foes. Any who dare attack him are often left blooded and at the mercy of the sharks, the Jung's other fearsome sailors.Jung players can pretend to be Bear Clan for a while with access to Armour (4), but unlike their Minimoto foes, Renishi can also Regenerate his whopping ten boxes. Harder to kill than a whole warband of Kaizoku, Renishi also has excellent melee abilities, and his spines cause Bleed Markers offering another route to getting those Shark charges off. Mamushi’s ophidian snake form is unique in Jwar in that he gives a warning rattle from his tail before he strikes, and his colours are unlike anything seen before. The Ito considers this a great omen demonstrating that Orochi’s power has extended beyond the Empire, incorporating far-away forms. They always believed Orochi’s power was vast and her reach long, and this new type of warrior now proves what their faith has long sustained. Ito Mamushi is blessed, a favourite of both the Temple and the Shisai and is accorded the requisite formalities. Traditionally the Ito sneer at using the Yari as a weapon, but Mamushi’s lethality and skill with it are deadly enough that he remains unchallenged in that regard. Mamushi offers Ito players a new Samurai, especially welcome in The Blessed theme. The ability to automatically apply Frightened Markers gives easy access to a new debuff and his 4 Melee and Feint (1) makes him a great combatant. He is self-sufficient, starting with an additional 2 Ki tokens, so he needs little or no support to hold a point. A curse to some and a blessing to others! Azami, it seems, is blessed with the dread countenance of Orochi. When she turns to face her foes, scores are fixed in terror, unable to defend or even think of an attack! She fights with an entangling chain rather than a noble weapon, using the weighted ends to crack skulls and bones. The spiralling motion of her chain captures her foes as if they were ensnared in the coils of the snake. Azami is a great model to send against the enemies finest warriors as she negates their parry. Even the bravest Samurai may fail a test against her Fear (6) with the Terror trait. This allows her to reliably grapple enemies, inflicting severe penalties in melee while a second model comes to finish the enemy off. She also has Lightfooted and Jump Up, ensuring she can always get to her target. Azami is an ideal addition to the Ito Starter Box and fits the Serpents Coil theme as a combat model. Upon joining the house, Nagato began to learn the twin Hook Swords. These weapons, more than most, require intense training. Students spend 16 hours every day with the weapon and must still attend to other duties and see off any Worms looking for promotion. Nagato set their determination and struggled through hours and days of rote learning creating muscle memory until she was pronounced ready. The training has given them not only an unsurpassed ability with the weapons but also an inexhaustible stamina, able to keep at the most strenuous of activities.Nagato brings a lot to KKZ players. With Tireless as an option and split attack, they can really even out any disparity in activations. They can remove multiple enemy activations and preserve their own for use at the end of the turn. This profile offers many options for melee and combining the ability to force an opponent to lose a weapon, gaining the Chain Weapon trait, cheaper melee boosts, and possible Combo Attack; you have everything you need, regardless of the opponent. The element of Metal encompasses not only the substance itself, but the fact that metallurgy and blacksmithing is needed to refine metal from simple ores. Metal is also the element of cogs and gears and represents advancement and technology. The Kami often take shapes of finished products of the smiths' art rather than amorphous masses of the element because of this, even when appearing to a Monk of Ro-Kan, the Kami will be a finished katana or system of gears. The temple has another supporting Kami, its ability to aid in melee is certainly useful for them, aiding in bypassing enemy defences, at which they have struggled. The Kami is also a good combatant in its own right, and with four Ki it can engage a few times before being removed. The Hare Clan are Masters of the Art of War. For them, it has become a life-long scholarly pursuit. They seek to turn oft-overlooked components into assets on the battlefield. Take, for instance, the humble dog not so humble in the hands of the Hare Clan. They have long been trained to fulfil a variety of battlefield roles. Some are messengers that go from tent to tent or position to position delivering vital messages or pieces of pertinent information. Some dogs are used to guard the camps at night, equipped to sniff out the enemy or any would-be infiltrators or assassins. Dog-handlers are Ashigaru and may operate with several dogs in a pack depending on the task at hand. Edogowa and his dogs are used to scout ahead, getting the lay of the land then sending the information back to their lines. A Prefecture warband can benefit significantly from having Edogawa and his dogs on their side. Aki is a messenger dog running notes back and forth. With a Samurai in the fold, they gain the powerful Order trait, allowing up to three Ashigaru to gain an additional activation. Emi, on the other hand, is a highly trained guard dog, so if anyone tries to Surprise a friendly model, it will first have to Test against Emi or have their advantage negated.
